What is rehabilitation?

One aspect of physical therapy is rehabilitation. Rehabilitation is the process of helping people with limitations or disabilities to significantly improve their function. The goals of rehabilitation are functional independency  and improvement in one's quality of life. Rehabilitation aspires to bring the patient to his/her full best functioning potential, to restore one to his/hers best possible shape by developing coping and management strategies. The physical therapist is part of  multi-disciplinary staff that is responsible for the rehabilitation process.

What is physical therapy?
 

Physical Therapy is an evidence based treatment profession which puts an emphasis on the needs of the patient and considers the physiological, psychological, and sociological aspects of the patient.

The aim of the physical therapist is to promote quality of life, to restore the patient to his full functions, to enhance performance and to prevent injuries.

The course of treatment is decided according to the specific needs of the patient. The physical therapist has a diverse set of tools and techniques to aid the patient.

Where do you do the treatment?

I make house calls in the Modiin - Maccabbeem  - Reut and Shoham areas, as well at 'Lev Clinics' at Shderot Hareches 13, building D, 4th floor, Modiin.

Do I need Physical therapy?

If you are suffering from pain, have the desire to restore your function to improve your performance or lower the risk of injury, then physical therapy can help you.

What age range do you treat?

From age 8 and up.
Until age 18, the patient muset be accompanied by a parent at the first appointment.
